Peebles County Cricket Club Young Cavaliers (U17's) v Carlton on Wed 02 Jul 2008 at 6pm
Peebles County Cricket Club Lost by 87 runs

Match report An email from the Carlton coach says it allabout our team of 7:

Just a few words of thanks to you and your team for efforts in staging the game last Wednesday. The conditions did not allow for a good wicket and you did your best to put a team on the park. Especially considering your U13s were playing in a South League match. (We would have had 5 players without U13s!).
More importantly, I must say how impressed our team and I were of the sportsmanship and attitude of your players. I know there were 4 very good and promising juniors in your line up, and it cant have been easy to take such a low score. However, it really made the night for our team by playing on and, more importantly, more importantly with their show of maturity beyond their years.

Best wishes for the rest of the season, and look forward to playing you in future.
